DESTREHAN, La. – After falling to the Destrehan Wildcats 4-3 at home on Tuesday, the Hahnville Tigers Baseball team was hoping to return the favor on Thursday afternoon, but DHS pitcher Bryce Scioneaux had other plans.

On Tuesday, the Tigers handed Wildcats pitcher Landon Marceaux, one of the top arms in the country, arguably his worst start of the season, but were never able to get anything going against Scioneaux, who was named the Press Play Player-of-the-Game after throwing a CG shutout, striking out eight Tigers in the process.

The 2-0 start to district play puts the Wildcats in the driver’s seat heading into the heart of the season.
