The Press Play Team recently completed Episode 5 of “Inside SCSO.”  Inside SCSO is a recurring look at public safety and crime prevention issues in St. Charles Parish and information about the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

In this edition of Inside SCSO, Sheriff Greg Champagne will talk about current developments within the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and his appointment to a prestigious Department of Justice Committee.

We will tell you more about a program that offers individuals and businesses an opportunity to partner with us to provide body armor for sheriff’s deputies.

We will talk about the dedication the newly completed St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Center and Special Services Building and give you a tour of this state-of-the-art facility.

And finally, we dig deeper into the successful youth programs in St. Charles Parish during this past summer.
