Directing any show is a very exhilarating experience. But with the excitement comes the fear and anxiety. This job requires a lot of patience, stability, and focus. Directing is the most important and challenging job when filming a live game.

It’s essential that you include all important plays during a live game because you can’t record that exact play over. My personal tip to you is to ignore everyone and remain focus on the game and the upcoming camera shots. Also, do not forget to call out all your camera shots on the headsets. If you don’t call out your shots, then the camera people won’t know when they are live. Uninformed and unaware camera people can result in a disaster broadcast.
