The Haunted History Hike is a project put on by multiple courses at the Satellite Center. The effort is spearheaded by Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism, as well as Technical Theatre. Sculpture, Educators Rising, Digital Media, Interactive Media also have involvement.

The goal of the Haunted History Hike is to educate families about the culture, history, and issues facing coastal Louisiana communities while raising funds for Wetland Watcher Park.

Two team members of Advanced Television Broadcasting, Juliana Becnel and CJ Beird worked with each course involved to create a public service announcement to raise awareness about the efforts to create this project. They also aimed to promote the event to the public and encourage people to volunteer.
