Dominique Lousteau II (Chuck) had an idea to make a podcast for this very purpose, so he did. So far, the podcast is doing well and has taken off beyond his expectations. The name of the podcast is Crescent City Gumbo.

The purpose of Crescent City Gumbo is to help promote local musicians. What he does to help musicians is that he’ll bring them into his studio and interview them, as well as record them playing their instrument. By doing this, he helps get said musicians’ names out there and give them more viewers.

The owner of the podcast states “Crescent City Gumbo is a group that was put together to assist local musicians and local businesses and pretty much anything local get some promotion done to get the word out to help them reach a bigger audience”

He had this idea about 2 years ago and the quarantine is what really set it off. He has done several interviews with many local musicians. Something else he has been doing is live streaming local concerts, craft shows, and other types of festivals.
