For this project we all picked a concentration and focused on whatever concentration we picked for four weeks. We had the option to choose between News, Weather, Sports, Commercials,Short films, and Documentaries. I picked News and decided to do a show called “Dukes and Dom” with my classmate Dominic. I focused my story on the school shooting simulation and he focused his on the new transportation truck that the animal shelter got. After liking the way that everything was coming together we decided to continue doing waking up with “Dukes and Dom” for the next three quarters.

After choosing my concentration me and Dominic went to digital juice and chose our show open and lower thirds. After we went to warnerchapplle to pick music to go under our opening. Then after we both scheduled our interviews. I didn’t really face any challenges with this project. My project came out exactly how I expected it to. Something I liked about my final video was the actual recording of me and Dominic behind the desk.

Somethings that I learned as a result of choosing News is that I liked being in front of the camera and conducting interviews. I would choose this concentration again so me and Dominic could continue to do “Waking Up With Dukes and Dom.”
