For this quarter instead of us as a class doing big huge projects, we have all separated into our own categories that we thought we would like the most. I picked photography, reason being is because I always messed with camera’s when I was younger and they would actually come out good. Also every time my parents would need a picture taken they would say “call the photographer let him take it”, so I thought if I actually took it seriously I wouldn’t do half bad.

First, My partners and I started to brainstorm on how where we shoot our pictures, so we all agreed on New Orleans. Some challenges I faced was finding a day to shoot because my partners and I are all student athletes, so on the weekends it would be very difficult to find a day due to games and practices we had. My video came out pretty good I would definitely go some others places rather than just New Orleans i would’ve also took pictures out here to give people a more rural view in our shots.

What I learned was that it is not actually as easy as you think it is, its not just click and its a good picture, you have to take your time focus the lens make sure you have the right angles in whatever shot you want. I would choose this concentration again because it was fun actually and being in the New Orleans environment taking pictures was the climax, rarely do i ever go deep into New Orleans like that and by me doing that I explored things that I never knew was in New Orleans.
