I personally don’t think the video was bad. There were a few scenes that could have been better. I like the scene in the hallway during 1:11 – 1:22. In the scene, they just look really happy and like they are having a lot of fun. Something that could be improved is the scenes where the singer obviously didn’t know their lines. We did a lot better with the lyrics this year than previous years however there were still a few who did not know their lines.

I think the video completed the purpose of promoting the Satellite Center and Open House/Showcase because it shows all the classes and some of the projects they do. I think in the past, some of the videos promoted the satellite center but I think we did it more this year. ATVB- The studio, DM- design and printing, IM- 3D printing, etc.

The process of Lip Dub was a mix of hit and miss for the AM class. Brainstorming was fun, and our out of the box ideas gave us more ideas on songs we could actually use. The pitch was great because even if we didn’t, as a class, agree on a song we could pitch the song we wanted alone. The planning was done before we pitched for Ms.Anderson so we could show her our personal plan if she picked ours. When Ms.Anderson picked the PMs song mashup, as a class we were kind of left out. The PM added Jalajah and I’s song and used the Elevator scene I came up with, as well as Lyndsey’s transitions but that was as far as it went. Class meetings on my end went fine, for the most part, my class understood what they had to do and their lines so everything went pretty smooth. For the recording, all I was able to do we do our section because PM filmed was able to come in the AM to record their plan. I liked everything up until the planning. They were fun and creative, and everyone had a chance to get their song chosen. I wish that we could have been more a part of this project it felt more like a PM project toward the end and I was disappointed that I was not able to drag Lyndsey around. Two separate lip dubs are the only way to fix this.

I think that you should continue the brainstorming and pitching even if you are pitching alone, but I think you should have an AM lip dub and a PM lip dub. Next year you should work hard to show what makes each class the same and separate.
