Hey Stick Reflection

For our first big project in ATVB, we had to take a random everyday object and create a commercial to sell this object. The catch is that we had to sell this product to be used for something that it’s not intended for in everyday life. My group got a spatula to sell, which we then turned into a product known as a Hey Stick”.  The Hey Stick is marketed towards teachers as a tool used in the classroom to wake children up when they fall asleep during the lesson. I think our commercial did accomplish its goal of selling our product to our target audience because it was presented in a way that proves it to be effective in multiple ways. I think this project will help me going forward by it showing me how to collaborate with other people, it helped me learn to see other peoples’ points of view and how to compromise when multiple people want multiple things.
