Scavenger Hunt

Shylah Ingram, Editor

The scavenger hunt was a project where we split up into groups, each group going out to different parts of the Performing Arts Center and filming short clips. These clips were both in and outside, ranging from an establishing shot of the bridge to two people having a conversation in the studio. The most important thing I learned while doing this project was how many ways there can be to set up the same shots, and how to put them together to make a quality video. I wish that while we were recording we spent a little more time getting more content because once we started editing we only had limited options. Even with the limited footage, I feel like I personally did the best while working the camera because it was where I felt the most comfortable and like what I was doing. The most enjoyable part of the project for me was the filming. We had a good time going out and coming up with different ways to capture the different things on the list. The least enjoyable part was the limited options for locations because we were limited to only the side of the building and we could have done more with more space.  Next year, because the rest of the building wont be under construction still, maybe you could include more areas from the larger parts of the building to feature in the different shots.
