Scavenger Hunt Reflection

Hailey Walthall, Editor, Director, Actress

Our first project in ATVB was to do a scavenger hunt for camera shots. This means that we went around our facility and took video of different types of camera shots and camera sequences. This project taught me how to compromise and look at things from another persons point of view. I will use compromise and others input for what a project should be when working with real world clients. I wish we had spent a little more time on our outside shots in order to assure they look as clean as our inside shots. I feel I did my best work on the sequence shots because I was able to collaborate with my partner in order to show unique shots for our sequences. The most enjoyable part of the project was learning new ways to incorporate unique angles into our camera shots and sequences. The least enjoyable part of the project was having limited locations to film in order to get all of our camera shots. Next year there should be more sequences to film because those are the most fun to create and film.
