LULING, LA-  THANKS, on May 16th Hahnville High School will be hosting their Graduation Ceremony for the graduating class of 2018 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Louisiana.

“It’s bitter-sweet. I’m ready to start a new chapter in my life, but I;m nt ready to leave the people that I’ve been with for the past 12 years” (Danielle Duplay).

With all of the people participating in graduation, there are many things that have to be planned for such as getting a head count of the guest who will be in attendance. Each senior participating will be receiving a limited amount of tickets due to the small venue. One of the main things that has to be taken care of is the organization of not only the Pontchartrain Center , but the diplomas as well. This is extremely important because every student must get the proper certificate during the ceremony when they walk across the stage. This event is significant to the current seniors for many reasons.

“I’m very excited to get out of school and start my college life. I want to meet new people and make new friends” (Talia Ward).

“I’m very excited about graduation. I”m ready to get out of school and go off to college” (Troyshell Polly).

“One thing that I’m going to miss about high school is football. Most of the guys that I know, I’ve been playing with them since recreation football, and I’m really gonna miss that” (Jarel LeBlanc).
