Lip Dub Journal

LULING, LA- Overall, I think the lip dub came out really well. I loved how we all cooperated with each other and worked well together. Some things that need to be improved are having things for each class to do to showcase workspaces better.

All in all, I believe our video accomplished its purpose of promoting the Satellite Center by displaying our workspaces, what we do, and how we all work together to achieve something whether its promoting the center or building a rollercoaster. We avoided mistakes of previous years, especially last years of having terrible transitions and no flow.

The biggest challenge we faced was having to plan out the whole project and coordinating everything, especially with a noncooperative class that joined us. We overcame this challenge and we all worked together to make the video without a physical conflict. My number one takeaway from this project is how well a video can come out even when I don’t solely work on it.

When planning this project in the future, it would be beneficial to do similarly to what we did this year with a little more emphasis on collaboration and that certain peoples’ ideas are chosen based off of development and skill as opposed to favoritism. Some advice would be to respect your other team members because they are also in the same position as you and are trying just as hard to come up with ideas as you.
