2018 Lip Dub Journal

Jordan-Kay Gros

LULING, LA- I think the final Lip Dub video came out really well. I am very pleased with how it looks. I really liked how the transition between AM and PM came out. I’m not sure that there is anything that can be improved.

I do believe that we accomplished the goal of promoting the Satellite Center. It show the different classes that are offered here, as well as showing the un that we have. We definitely avoided mistakes that previous videos had. We made a transition that fit well and it didn’t take away from the video as a whole. You can also see how we recording one take and did not stop for each classroom and then piece the video together.

I think our biggest challenge was the beginning process of recording. I can sort of see how the beginning of the video is not as good as the second half. We did however finally get the first half after a few takes. My number one take away from this project is that it may take a few takes to get the video perfect and exactly how you want it.

When planning in the future, you can maybe make sure that Am does their own part, and PM does their own part, that way one class doesn’t have to do everything that the other class was lacking. For future team members, my best advice is to work together within their class as well as either the AM or PM classes.
