2018 Lip Dub Journal

LULING, LA- The video came out good. I liked how we all worked on it even if we didn’t want that song or idea to be chosen. Most of everyone knew the lyrics to the song so it was good. We needed to improve on making sure next time that everyone knows the song and that they do not mess up. We could’ve improved it by talking about the lip dub and planning way earlier so everyone would know the song. The video promoted the Satellite Center. It showed what each class does and how fun it is to be in each class. We did avoid the mistakes that the classes made last year. We made sure more people knew the lyrics so it won’t look bad like the old videos. The biggest challenge was trying to overcome that our song, transition, or walk through didn’t get chosen. Our class had to get over it and we had to pull through and get the video done. We came over the challenges. We actually did the video. Even though the p.m class said that the video wasn’t going to be done if they weren’t there we put that aside of us and finished the video. My  #1 take is that p.m had all their ideas chosen and it felt like a.m didn’t have a part in the project at all. Also p.m was acting like little kids. We still overcame everything and got the job done. Next year when planning the project you should start planning way earlier and get the lyrics to everyone way earlier so the job could be done. My advice for next year is to not get mad when your idea doesn’t get chosen. Not everything in life is going to go your way.
