2018 Lip Dub Journal

LULING, LA– After watching the Final Lip Dub video, I think that the video came out great. All of the camera shots were good and flowed. I liked how everybody knew their words so they didn’t look confused. Some things that needed to be improved is the logo at the end on the drone shot. The logo needs to be a little bit smaller and it should fade in.

I do think that we accomplished our goal of making a video that appropriately promotes the Satellite Center. We avoided many of the mistakes that other groups had in past years. We did have some communication issues, however, we overcame them in the end.

The biggest challenge we faced throughout the course of the project was communicating with the PM class to decide which transition to choose and cooperating with each other. I do think we overcame those challenges and those issues were not projected in the video. My number 1 takeaway from this project is that you should get along with everyone no matter what the situation is.

When planning this project again in the future, you should give them better expectations so that there won’t be as much arguing as there was this year. Some advice I have for the next group that comes along to complete this video is to listen to everyone’s idea before they say anything negative.
