Player of the Week Senior Linebacker Conor Fenerty

LULING, LA- Conor Fenerty is a senior at Hahnville High School. He is a part of the football team, soccer team and track and field. Conor is #36 and is a linebacker for HHS football team. For the 2017 football season Conor was a major part of the defense as he lead the team tackles. He was awarded Player of the Week in the St. Charles Herald Guide.

Conor Fenerty was born on March 6th in 2000. He grew up in Luling, Louisiana. and he is the son of Cliff and Angela Fenerty ,and he is the youngest of 6 children. 

Conor’s mother states that she enjoys watching her son play football. “I enjoy watching because I know he loves it so much he’s played it since he was five years it’s something that he’s enjoyed all of his life and he has worked hard at it and he can play any position they ask of him and he studies it and understands it and it’s fun to watch him play” “My favorite thing about Conor is that when he goes to do something he does it 100 plus percent and does it to the best of his ability.” Angela said. 

Conor’s father is very excited about his son playing in the State Championships “and to being able to watch him play in High School and now to finally go for a state championship it’s unbelieveable.” said by Cliff Fenerty.

Conor plans on attending Southeastern or any other colleges that offer him a scholarship to play there.

Hahnville High School will be competing in the 2017 Championships this Saturday the 9th. The tigers have not won a state championship since 2003. Good luck HHS! From Press Play Productions I’m Mikayla Noto.
