Tigers Shut-Out ESJ 27-0

A strong showing for the Hahnville Tigers against the East St. John Wildcats. It was a great day for the tigers resulting in a 27-o victory over the wildcats. The tiger offense was stellar racking 468 total yards of offense. The defense for the tigers also played lights out not only by not allowing the wildcats to score, but also pitching in with 3 takeaways. On offense it was the tigers running game with the team rushing for a staggering 418 yards. The main contributors to this tremendous feat were Pooka Williams with 284 yards rushing, Jha’Quan Jackson with 82 yards, Mike Gray with 40 yards, Daryle Evans with 8 yards, and Terman Nash with 4. On the other side of the ball the tigers played lights out with 3 interceptions 2 coming from cornerback Khalil Mason and 1 from Safety Hunter LeBlanc. The tigers also got after the quarterback with Lynocy Reynaud. The tigers will face the Central Lafourche Trojans this friday at home.
