Friday, October 13th at Central Lafourche High School, the Destrehan Wildcats defeated the Central Lafourche Trojans with a final score of 28-21.

Falling behind in the first quarter with score of 14-0, the Destrehan Wildcats stepped up their game during the second quarter, coming right behind the Trojans with 14-14 at the end of the first half. Scoring two touchdown in a 6 minute

 period during the fourth quarter, the Destrehan Wildcats brought their score from 14 to 28. The final score of 28-21 was not as impressive as last year’s 49-21, though the win is still a relief to all of the Destrehan football fans that are wishing to see the Wildcats face off in the Superdome come December.

The win bumped Destrehan’s record up to 5-2 while the Central Lafourche record was brought down to 3-4.

The Destrehan Wildcats are scheduled to play H.L. Bourgeois this Friday night at 7:00 P.M. on the road.
