Pink Links PSA Vlog Reflection

Asia Hill

LULING,LA- My group’s video could have been way better. We had a great ideas and we worked really hard on it, but it didn’t come together how we thought it would at the end.The role I played was the scriptwriter and the director. It was nice playing these roles but it became stressful because everything fell on but it was an amazing experience. I feel that the video did establish the purpose to encourage people to buy the pink links by making breast cancer seem so scary and unwanted. The girls at the end of the video decided to buy links to help the people who have cancer. My ATVB crew worked well together. We had a little problem when it came to editing but we overcame it quickly and swiftly. It was just a lot of high tension from everyone because the video didn’t come out how we planned it to.Collaborating with other groups that don’t necessarily have knowledge of the production process was a little complicated because they didn’t understand the seriousness of the project and their main focus were on the unnecessary things at times, but they were a great group of people to work with. The most challenging part of the project was the editing. It was so many things we were trying to accomplish with not enough footage. It became a little stressful and nerve wrecking. My favorite part of the project was filming because everyone had so much fun acting and being behind scenes of the production. My final thoughts on the project is that I wish that it would’ve came out better because we all worked extremely hard on it and spent a lot of time on this production. I felt like I didn’t deliver what I was expected to and I also felt that I let the other class down.
