BOUTTE,LA- The Destrehan Wildcats played the Slidell Tigers and took a great win of 42-17 this past Friday night.

Destrehan started the game off very strong, scoring four unanswered touchdowns. Of the four, three touchdowns were made by John Emory before it was even half time. J.R. Blood passed to Emory and received a 55-yard score during the second quarter.

For the Slidell Tigers, extra points after their two touchdowns were absent. After Slidell’s touchdowns, came a two-point conversion, and they later scored a field goal.

This Friday, September 8th, the Wildcats are on the road against the St. Charles Catholic Comets.
