DESTREHAN, LA – On Thursday Destrehan played Lutcher in the ED Reed Jamboree and lost 23-21.

Destrehan started the game off well,  putting up the first 7 points on the board when John Emery punched a run in from the one-yard line. Right before, he busted off a 29-yard run on a third-and-22. Lutcher came right back and did the same thing. Jacoby Williams made the touchdown on the one-yard line, as well.

In the second half, Lutcher and Destrehan were tied 14-14. . It came down to a few seconds left in the game when Luther scored a 22-yard field goal kicked by Alec Bland.

This Friday, September 1st, the Destrehan Wildcats will take on the Slidell Tigers for their first game of the season. Kickoff is for 7pm at the Wildcat Stadium in Destrehan, LA. Lutcher will be going against East Ascension in Lutcher, LA for 7 pm.
