BOUTTE, LA – In Hahnville’s scrimmage against Jesuit both teams played to a tied 14-14.

The game started very slowly with Jesuit getting three flags in the first five minutes of the game, and both teams calling timeouts in the first 15 minutes. However, things started heating up for both teams as the game went on.

Both teams had exceptional players doing their absolute best. For Hahnville they had Anthony ‘Pooka’ Williams who rushed 155 and had a 60-yard touchdown reception, and he scored both of Hahnville’s touchdowns, while Jesuit had their star quarterback Alex Watermeier, who kept good control of the team when they needed it. He is expected to help guide his team to an excellent season.

Now Hahnville moves on to play against West Jefferson High School this Friday September, 1. Kickoff is at Hahnville at 7 pm. Jesuit will have a home game against Easton on Thursday August, 31.
