LULING, LA – For our first assignment as the Advanced Television Broadcasting team, we were tasked with filming different parts of our Satellite Center Building. I was paired with Jyia Joseph and we worked together to complete this assignment. It was not the first time I’ve filmed or used a camera, however it has been a little while since I last used one, so it was a new learning experience to reconnect with the filming and editing process. It was also refreshing working with such a fun crew that I can work with comfortably. We decided to take turns filming and being filmed since my partner had never worked a camera before. It was interesting leading and teaching someone while I’m also learning and experiencing at the same time. I look forward to more projects in the future and working with the other people in my class.
