BOUTTE,LA-The Destrehan Wildcats failed to keep the score up in last Friday’s game, resulting in the St.Charles Catholic Comets taking  the victory of 24-8.

St. Charles Catholic’s offense was too much for Destrehan . Tbe Wildcats muffed a punt reception in the first half . On third-and-4 at the 5, Harold “JR” Blood connected with Quinton Torbon for the score and threw a pass at Carl Lewis for the 2-point conversion. That was Destrehan’s only score of the game.

Comets had three muffed punts, a fumble and an interception.Randall Campbell scored Comets’ first touchdown .  Senior Narquez Jones rushed for 179 yards on 27 carries and scored two touchdowns . St. Charles scored with 5:01 in the first quarter.

This Friday, September 15th, the Destrehan Wildcats take on John Ehret.
